What is funny about this delusion is that it for one is a delusion as stated. Nobody is a communist or a socialist. To be a communist or a socialist would imply that the world functioned as such. But clearly capitalism is our mode of function.
So we are all capitalists based on how we as a society function. This is to be understood if we are to step beyond the demise of our own beliefs. If we were to live in a communistic or socialistic society then you could call yourself as such. But until that time we are all capitalists.
There is this tendency for people to believe they are what they want to be or what they wish to be when all indicators point to otherwise - which is the 'truth'.
For example people who believe their is such thing as love or goodness are in the same delusion. They want to believe they are and the world as a whole is what they want or wish it to be - the image and likeness of love or what is good - when all indicators point to the opposite.
Sure their is 'good' in this world - you can see that when you walk outside - how the trees, nature greet you in their embrace. But this 'good' is still subject to the image of the dominant species on earth which is the human - and look at how humans behave.
So love as an idea will never solve the issues of this world. It will only prolong as it is a pile of shit wrapped up with a bow and presented as a solution. And when you receive this gift you understand when you get through the wrapping that it is shit.
There must be physical practical solutions which take on the heart of humans delusion. Because these same delusions are what creates the world of today - inequality - immense suffering - demon possessions - all are born of delusion - and the delusions are compounding each day.
So if you wanted to be a socialist or a communist you would have to create that very system - and when you present what you want to be as a solution - you have missed the point - because you are the solution - yourself.
